exorcism

[edit]

The Dalai Lama has a autobiography called freedom in exile. In this books he talks about how he exorcised a spirit. Don't know if it's important. But it maybe added to thearticle what do you think?

Some sort of syntax is wrong in the following paragraph.

[edit]

I'm seeing "The Dalai Lama's traditional function as an ecumenical figure has been taken up by the fourteenth Dalai Lama, who has worked to overcome sectarian and other divisions in the exile community and become a symbol of Tibetan nationhood for Tibetans in Tibet and in exile. |last1=Cantwell and Kawanami |title=Religions in the Modern World |publisher=Routledge |isbn=978-0-415-85880-9 |pages=94 |year=2016 }}</ref> He is Tenzin Gyatso, who escaped from Lhasa in 1959 during the Tibetan diaspora and lives in exile in Dharamsala, India."

Clearly, this is a syntax error in the symbolic markup language of Wikipedia, isn't it? (Forgive me, I'm ignorant about these things.) Gregorybard (talk) 07:49, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Reincarnation process

[edit]

>According to Tibetan Buddhist doctrine, the Dalai Lama chooses his reincarnation.

Shouldn't it be decided by the Panchen? 93.66.97.185 (talk) 16:00, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
